Congratulations and Welcome
Welcome to the School of Design Engineering and Computing at Bournemouth University. You have chosen to study at an institution that places a great emphasis on the learning experience of its students and on the learning partnership between tutors and students. Our aim is to help our students become confident, independent learners. Stepping Stones 2HE has been designed to get you started on this journey.
You will see that we have included a section about Personal and Professional Development. This will help you to get an idea of what it will be like to study at University, and, importantly, members of your Course Team have also provided an introduction to your studies to help you get started. This will be referred to during your first week or two with us, and will help you make a good start to your studies.
Please also take half an hour to complete the "About You" survey and return it to us on-line. We would really encourage you to complete the questionnaire - we take care to read each profile carefully as it helps us to get to know our new students.
