Short Biography

Cornelius Ncube is a Senior Lecturer in Software Systems at the Software Systems Research CentreSchool of Design, Engineering and Computing at Bournemouth University, UK. Cornelius holds a PhD in Computer Science (City University London, UK), an MSc in Software Engineering (City University London, UK) and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science (Brunel University, London, UK). Cornelius's core research area is in Software Systems Engineering with a particular focus on Requirements Engineering. He has contributed to requirements engineering methods and software systems development processes. More specifically, he is currently research active in the areas of Systems-of-Systems Engineering, Composition-Based Software Systems, Opportunistic-Software Systems Development, COTS-Based Systems Development and  Requirements Engineering. Cornelius has been a researcher in various research projects including, The VANTAGE PHASE 1 Project, The NATS-EASM project, The GOMOSCE project, The BANKSEC project and PORE. Cornelius has served on the organisation and programme committees of several international conferences and workshops, and has acted as a reviewer for various international journals and research project proposal. He is co-editing the November/December 2008 special issue of the IEEE Software Journal on Opportunistic Software Systems Development, is the Research Demonstrations Co-Chair for ICSE 2010, is the Programme Co-Chair of the 7th IEEE International Conference on Composition-Based Software Systems ICCBSS 08 and is a programme committee member for REFSQ 2008 (for a complete list please see profile). Professionally, he is a member of the Requirements Engineering Specialist Group of the British Computer Society (RESG) and the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE)
