Consultancy

The Centre itself has a long history of working closely with industry on projects, many of which have involved the design and development of new products, systems or services. Consultancy can range from help with feasibility studies and specification writing, to the design and development/manufacture of a fully working prototype.

Our services can be provided from the full range of expertise levels within the School, from student projects (generally free) right up to Senior Academics/Researchers, depending on your requirements and budget.

We would be pleased to visit you at no obligation to discuss your needs, just email or call us to start the ball rolling.

Some examples of our expertise include:

  • Product specifications
  • Electronics System design and development
  • Software design and development
  • Prototype design & manufacture
  • Advice on choice of technology
  • Advice on design tool selection
  • Feasibility studies
  • Design for Testability
  • Design for Manufacturability and Serviceability
  • Product Industrial Design
  • Sustainable Design
